On May 22, India tested the BrahMos cruise missile “from a Mobile Autonomous Launch (MAL),” according to an Indian Ministry of Defense press release. Quoted in the release, Director-General, CEO, and Managing Director of BrahMos Dr. Sudhir Mishra noted that the test confirmed the integrity of the Indian-built “components” of the missile. It was the second BrahMos test this week, following another successful launch “from a Static Inclined Launcher” on May 21, according to the MoD.
