India Test Fires BrahMos Missile

On May 21, India successfully test fired its BrahMos cruise missile at the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur in eastern India. According to the Indian Ministry of Defense, the test proves “the efficacy and longevity of the system.” MoD also reported that “the missile flew in its designated trajectory and the key components functioned perfectly.” The BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile jointly developed by India and Russia. It has a range of 300-500 km.
