On April 8, Houthis militants reportedly fired a Badr-1 SRBM at Saudi military radars in Asir Province, just outside Khamis Mushait. Houthi-sponsored media announced the strike was successful and “hit the targets accurately;” Saudi Arabia has yet to comment on this claim.

On April 6, Saudi air defense forces reportedly intercepted a ballistic missile over Najran. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Houthi-launched missile was fired from Saada and intercepted by a Patriot missile defense system. Although “splinters of [the missile] scattered on residential neighborhoods of the city,” the attack did not result in casualties or significant property damage.
