On April 4, Saudi Air Defense Forces reportedly intercepted a short-range ballistic missile targeting the Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan. According to Houthi media, the Badr-1 missile successfully hit storage tanks at the oil facility. Saudi Aramco has rejected these claims, announcing that “All Saudi Aramco plants and facilities, including our facilities in Jazan, are operating normally and safely.” Jizan is a frequent target of Houthi missiles given its proximity to the Saudi-Yemeni border.
