Iran Tests Fateh-110 Ballistic Missile

On August 10, Iran test fired a short-range antiship Fateh-110 mod 3 ballistic missile from Bandar-e-Jask over the Strait of Hormuz last week. This is the first reported ballistic missile test from Iran since June 2017. Fox News reported that “According to the officials, the anti-ship Fateh-110 Mod 3 flew over 100 miles on a flight path over the Strait of Hormuz to a test range in the Iranian desert” and that “it [the firing] occurred as part of Iran’s annual naval exercise.” The Fateh-110 was most recently fired in March 2017.
