On February 7, India successfully test fired a Prithvi-2 short-range ballistic missile. The launch came one day after an Agni-1 test launch, and took place at India’s Integrated Test Range off the coast of Odisha. The Prithvi-2 missile entered service in 2003, and was previously test fired in November 2016 and June 2017. It has a range of 250-350 km while carrying a conventional or nuclear warhead of 500-1,000 kg.
