On May 23, a U.S. Air Force B-1B successfully test fired two Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles (LRASMs) near California. This marks the third successful test launch of the LRASM, following tests in March 2018 and December 2017. The LRASM can carry a 450 kg warhead more than 320 km. According to Lockheed Martin, the “LRASM is designed to detect and destroy specific targets within groups of ships.”
