South Korea Orders New PAC-3 Interceptors

On February 7, South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced its intent purchase additional Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptors from the United States. The estimated $53 million contract will go through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, with an undisclosed number of interceptors scheduled for delivery after 2020.
