On October 31st, North Korea fired two “unidentified projectiles” from Sunchon in the country’s western region. According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, the missiles flew 370 km and reached a 90 km altitude before landing in an unspecified area. Japan’s Ministry of Defense later confirmed that the projectiles “did not land within” Japanese waters.
