India Conducts Test Launch of NGARM

On January 18, India test fired its first indigenously developed air-to-ground missile, the Next Generation Anti-Radiation Missile (NGARM), off the Odisha Coast. The missile was fired from a Su-30 aircraft and successfully destroyed a target radar station on the ground. The NGARM has a range of around 100 km and is designed to destroy surveillance and radar ground targets.
