US Air Force Successfully Tests High Energy Laser
On April 23, the U.S. Air force successfully tested the Self-Protect High Energy Laser Demonstrator (SHiELD), a laser weapons system designed to shoot down incoming surface-to-air or air-to-air launched missiles.
