Marine Corps to Acquire Naval Strike Missile

On May 8, reports announced the U.S. Marine Corps has awarded $47 million to Raytheon for a new antiship missile. The Naval Strike Missile can strike ships up to 180 km away, and will reportedly be integrated with a ground-based launch platform.
